MATH 355 - Foundations of Advanced Mathematics Credits: 3 An introduction to concepts and methods that are fundamental to the study of advanced mathematics. Topics include logic, proof methods, set theory, relations, functions, number theory, and other selected topics from discrete mathematics. Mathematical reasoning and the reading and writing of proofs are emphasized.
