PSYC 105 - Careers and Plans for the Psychology Major

This course focuses on career and acaemic planning issues for psychology majors. Information presented in the course will focus on the clarification, selection, and pursuit of a career in psychology or a related field. Topics will include an overview of the skills and knowledge expected of an undergraduate major in psychology, career options in psychology and related fields, preparation for employment with a bachelor’s degree, and preparation for graduate school. Students will develop an academic and career timeline, prepare for their remaining years in the psychology program, and explore interest areas in psychology.
