CIDS 515 - Organization and Human Resources Credits: 3 This course teaches students to apply psychological theories and principles to the inner workings of organizations. The following topics are discussed in detail: employee selection and training, small group behavior, leadership, attitudes and motivation, power and politics, and strategies for fostering organizational change. Students will learn to interpret research findings accurately and responsibly, and there will be a special emphasis on learning to conduct empirical research in organizational settings.
