ENGR 365 - Numerical Methods for Engineers

Credits: 3
This course provides a basic introduction to numerical methods to solve engineering problems.  Fundamental concepts from linear algebra are introduced and utilized in this course.  Numerical methods covered will include root solving, solving systems of linear equations, optimization, numerical integration, and basic methods to solve systems of first order differential equations.  MATLAB is used in this course to demonstrate how to successfully code each of the methods presented.
