CIDS 526 - Global Health & DevelopmentCredits: 3 From global pandemics to natural or man-made disasters, health, illness, and relief are experienced in diverse ways. This course draws from the work of scholars and practitioners in anthropology, public health, disaster relief, and community and international development to provide theoretically informed approaches to health promotion, illness prevention, and healthcare intervention in community development and humanitarian relief contexts.
