EDTE 501 - TESOL Theories & MethodsCredits: 3 Critical survey of traditional and current theories and methods of teaching English to speakers of other languages. Includes supervised observation of ESL classes.

| English language proficiency (a minimum of 575 on TOEFL PBT or equivalent) for students for whom English is not their first language. This requirement is waived if the student received an undergraduate degree from an institiution where English is the medium of instruciton. |
