BSAD 565 - Human Capital & Workforce Development

This course is designed to teach students how to assess and develop an organization’s human assets. It explores organizational learning and the various ways training and development activities contribute to learning. Students study human resources trends and their interaction with increasing demands on workforce productivity, including competition, globalization, technological complexities, regulation, and dynamic labor markets. The course covers topics such as learning strategy development, training needs assessment, program design, techniques, evaluation strategies, and career development practices. It integrates advanced talent management and development skills with strategic workforce planning, addressing gaps in employee competencies, planning talent development strategies, and forecasting workforce needs.
