BSAD 675 - Negotiation and Conflict Management Strategies

This course equips managers with essential negotiation skills for complex contemporary organizations. Participants learn to navigate changing structures, temporary task forces, and interdepartmental cooperation while dealing with critical negotiation situations in organizations. The course covers distributive and integrative bargaining strategies, power dynamics, and cultural and gender influences on negotiation. Furthermore, the course focuses on conflict management, teaching methods to handle disputes productively and build long-term positive relationships. Students gain insights into conflict resolution strategies, negotiation techniques, and effective communication skills.
