Chaplaincy Concentration

The Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary offers a Master of Divinity program that serves as the professional and academic preparation for pastoral ministry and leadership for the Seventh-day Adventist Church. This program offers an 18 credit hour concentration that provides the student with advanced understanding and competency in chaplaincy ministry

Six credit hours of chaplaincy courses will replace CHMN 634 - Field Evangelistic Preaching & Practicum  and CHMN 562 - Field Evangelism  from which chaplaincy students will be exempted. An additional eight optional Clinical Pastoral Education units will be available beyond the Master of Divinity requirements.
