Accounting Minor

The minor in Accounting helps the student to develop a robust foundation in accounting and financial reporting. The accounting minor opens opportunities for employment in entry-level areas of accounting, such as bookkeeping or junior accountants in business, not-for-profit, and other entities. The accounting minor is a practical area to complement a major in other areas of business and also to non-business majors. Students with a minor in accounting are better prepared to eventually move into administration and middle-management positions where they need to understand and interpret financial reports and make decisions based on financial data and financial performance.
