Students choosing this 12-credit Interior Design Certificate as a stand-alone program, or as an add-on to their current studies, can immerse themselves in the world of interior design. Certificate students will explore the profession of interior design, learn about the design process, and gain hands-on knowledge about interior construction. The skills taught in this program can assist in gaining entry level employment in a field related to interior design, it can allow students to explore an area of personal interest, or it can be utilized by students in related majors to concentrate in this specific area to enhance future career opportunities.

Elective - 6
Six credits of electives from INT courses to be chosen in consultation with and approved by student’s primary Interior Design advisor. Student Learning Outcomes
Graduates of this program will be able to:
- Evaluate an interior space.
- Classify interior design solutions, material selections and construction techniques.
- Conduct design research and interpret information to provide a decision-making framework for interior solutions.
- Utilize written and verbal communication skills to thoughtfully discuss design.
