The Graduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate (I&E Certificate) is a 16-credit sequence to actively lay a foundation, build a core, shape and polish a student’s capacity for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E) through engagement in advanced projects and ancillary coursework. It is open to master's level students enrolled on the main campus of Andrews University.
The program requires 10 credits of core courses and is complemented by 6 credits from one of three focus area tracks: Non-Profit Innovation, Humanitarian and Development Innovation, and Product-Market Innovation. Completion involves a capstone course that is a practical implementation of a project or launch of a business, non-profit organization, or ministry. This program is designed to be of special interest to traditional and non-traditional students who have ambitions for establishing a startup company developing or offering an innovative product, process, ministry, organization, or service.
