Program Description
The Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Post-Master’s Certificate is a graduate-level academic and experiential program designed to prepare participants for advanced excellence in chaplaincy ministries. Through a blended curriculum of theological study, supervised clinical practice, and peer group learning, participants will be formed as competent, compassionate, and ethical spiritual care providers. The program responds to the growing need for certified chaplains who can serve in diverse healthcare, community, and institutional settings across the United States and globally.

Admission Requirements
- A Master of Divinity, Religious or Theology Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Commitment to chaplaincy and spiritual care ministry.
- Application and interview with program coordinator.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate competence in providing spiritual care across diverse clinical and community settings.
- Apply ethical and philosophical frameworks to chaplaincy challenges, including end-of-life care, trauma, and crisis intervention.
- Engage in reflective practice through peer group learning and supervision, fostering personal and professional growth.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with individuals and groups experiencing grief, trauma, or crisis.
- Integrate theological and spiritual insights into care planning, advocacy, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
