North American Division Teacher Certification (NAD)

The North American Division of Teacher Certification (NAD) is a program that will provide classes approved and required by the North American Division for teacher certification. This program works closely with the union registrars working with teachers needing their Basic and Standard certification.

Areas of NAD Certification

The School of Education partners with several unions for teachers to complete or renew their NAD certification. Teachers approved by their union registrars would apply for the NAD certificate in these areas:

• Elementary
• Secondary

Levels of NAD Certification
These classes through the NAD certification will allow teachers to obtain certifications at these levels:

• Basic
• Standard
