SOCI 408 - Emergency PreparednessCredits: 2 Provides an introduction to basic philosophy and concepts of Emergency Preparedness as required by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) and most states which certify staff. Includes use of FEMA—provided modules in the Professional Development Series which are accepted prerequisites for advanced classroom courses. A passing grade is required on each module for a Satisfactory grade and receipt of a Professional Development Series Certificate of Completion.
