CHEM 400 - Chemical Separations and AnalysisCredits: 2 Theory and practice of analytical separations by extraction and chromatographic methods including flash column, thin layer, high pressure liquid, gas, and affinity chromatography. After separation, the components of mixtures are analyzed by a variety of spectroscopic techniques that may include nuclear magnetic resonance, infrared spectroscopy and/or mass spectrometry.
