MUHL 250 - Music to Change the WorldCredits: 3 A study of music from around the globe, including folk, native, popular, and classical traditions. Special attention is given to the social, religious, and cultural contexts in which music is performed, with emphasis on the meaningful uses of music for expressing identity, building community, conveying political messages, and promoting human rights.
