ANEA 805 - Historical Geography of the Ancient Near East

Advanced Study of the countries of the Bible and archaeological explorations carried out in them during the past 150 years; the geographical setting of Bible history; the background, rise, and progress of biblical archaeology; methods employed by archaeologists in using material excavated and found in the Near East.  A review of critical approaches to the historical geography of the Bible.
