PSYC 458 - Advanced Theories of Addiction and TreatmentCredits: 3 Surveys, critiques and integrates the primary theories currently used to explain the process, outcome and treatment of addictions. Covers biological, psychological, social and anthropological addiction theories. Primary substance-abuse prevention theories are surveyed. Implications for at-risk, vulnerable populations considered.
