EDTE 165 - Philosophical and Social Foundations of EducationCredits: 4 An orientation to the teaching profession in a multicultural society, including the philosophical/ethical assumptions underlying different education philosophies and the social, cultural, and instructional aspects of American education. Students analyze educational philosophies and practices from a Christian perspective and study the implications of school law on educational practice. 30-hour field experience required outside of class time.
