Chaplaincy Concentration

The Chaplaincy Concentration provides a unique focus within the SDATS Master of Divinity Program for those choosing a career track in chaplaincy. Courses specific to chaplaincy ministry will be chosen as electives totaling 12 credit hours. Six additional credit hours of chaplaincy courses will replace CHMN 631 /CHMN 662 - Field Evangelistic Preaching Practicum and CHMN 562 - Field Evangelism from which chaplaincy students will be exempted. An additional eight optional Clinical Pastoral Education units will be available beyond the Master of Divinity requirements.
