NRSG 748 - Advanced Pathophysiology Across the Lifespan

The focus of this course is the application of advanced pathophysiologic concepts for frequently encountered conditions in clinical practice.  It provides an in-depth analysis of epidemiology, risk factors, etiology, pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, and laboratory tests for selected acute and chronic illnesses across the lifespan.  This is not an introductory course.  It is expected that students already have a basic understanding of anotomy, physiology, pathophysiology, physical assessment, laboratory testing and pharmacology.
