CHMN 643 - Trauma & Advanced Crisis Intervention

This course is designed to enhance understanding of the nature of a trauma. This course further considers how traumatic experiences may influence the person’s life. Focus on the impact of trauma provides a foundation for assessment, crisis intervention, and planning. Such planning provides effective services reflecting the unique needs. Case studies are utilized as a learning model.
