FNCE 810 - Advanced Corporate Finance

This course responds to the need of developing an objective framework to analyze and evaluate the opportunities and risks of the rapid financial developments in today’s global economy. It will study the major decision-making areas of managerial finance and some selected topics in financial theory. it reviews the theory and empirical evidence related to the investment and financing policies of the firm and attempts to develop decision-making ability in these areas. Some areas like mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, financial planning, and some other selected topics will be covered. Pricing of selected financial instruments and corporate liabilities, and dividend policy will be covered if not covered in FNCE 675.
