PLSC 456 - Classical, Medieval and Early Modern Political ThoughtCredits: 3 A study of the great political ideas from antiquity to early modern times through a consideration of thinkers such as Plato, Aristotle, Aquinas, Machiavelli, Hobbes and Locke. The course explores such issues as human nature, the good life, freedom, justice, and authority as understood by pre-modern and early modern theorists.
