PLSC 405 - GlobalizationCredits: 3 This course explores the meaning and impact of globalization on contemporary international politics. This course uses the perspectives of political science and international political economy to examine the processes and consequences of globalization. We will study how globalization affects the international economy, state, sovereignty, international organizations, transnational corporations, trade, immigration and democratic governance. We begin with developed democracies and go on to explore the benefits and costs of globalization for developing countries.
