Individualized Major Education BS

This degree may be planned for students who have career goals and/or special interests in an area of education not requiring K–12 teaching credentials. Permission is needed by education advisor and chair of the education department to pursue this degree.

Total Credits - 120

Major - 66

The major consists of elementary education, secondary education, and/or content area courses.

  • 20 credits must come from EDTE courses

Interdisciplinary

The remaining credits come from the following:

  • Required general education courses (see below)
  • General elective courses

Students must fulfill all Bachelor’s Degree requirements listed in the Andrews Core Experience .
