SOWK 402 - Foundations of Practice I, IICredits: 4 Designed to develop the theory, knowledge, and skills essential in generalist social work practice. Various methods are offered for developing communication, assessment, planning, intervention, termination, and evaluative skills necessary in social work practice. Focus on skills necessary for practice with individuals, families and groups in a variety of settings.
