FILM 275 - Post-ProductionCredits: 3 An introduction to film editing and motion design. This course begins with a primer on digital video codecs and the post-production workflow. Then through the first half of the semester, participants will learn the language and technique of editing and develop a proficiency in professional non-linear editing systems. In the latter half of the semester, students will be introduced to the art and technique of motion design and gain exposure to Adobe After Effects and other professional compositing, 3D, or animation software.
